Wow, this series got of to a dramatic start, after hearing it could be a slow start I was surprised how captured I was by ‘ A court of Thorns and Roses’- a book I had no idea it was a beauty and the beast inspired retelling but read it thinking… ‘this is really like beauty and the beast’.. HA, so Sarah J Mass did a great job then.
Level ten life has become extremely popular on the internet/in groups/blogs, I keep seeing it pop up and have dabbled in it myself.
Some seems to wonder just WHAT Level Ten life is about and what do you actually DO? So here is a quick rundown for you on it as I see it anyway 🙂
The concept seems to have sprung into popularity from the big success of the book a while back called ‘Miracle Morning’ by Hal Elrod.

Felt really lucky to have a chat with author Kate Hewitt.
Kate is writer of several book with one of her reads gracing the January pick for February ‘discuss’ on the whimsyandcosy Facebook group.
We are discussing the book Kate wrote called ‘A Yorkshire Christmas’ as book club pick at the moment (we read it just after Christmas) and what a TREAT that I can share with you the chat. You have to be eagle eyed with the kindle as the books ends about half way through on kindle percent then you get another read as a bonus.
Here’s another author interview for you … and book chat here also …
Here is our Chat! sit down with a cuppa and put your feet up
I am so happy with this treat from the sales of Johanna Basford Colouring Calendar that I wanted to tell you about it and show you how lovely her artwork is to colour.
This is a wonderful set of colouring to do, as you may know I love colouring , see the Whimsy Colouring challenge HERE and more Johanna talk Colouring Fun – Johanna Basford
There is something so calming and creative about colouring and there are some amazing results that can be had.
What I liked about the idea of this was that the pictures were smaller and I thought probably faster to colour, although it’s not a race I wanted to feel I had completed more pictures from my growing colouring collection.
Hi all, so good to catch up with you and I thought today I would do a bit of a ‘my latest’ type post, it feels like a good way to say hello and get you up to date with some of what is running around my head.
January is often not an easy month is it, I LOVE Christmas and as such although start the new year with a fresh start mentality I think it still is not the positive boost to me that November and December is, in fact I love Autumn so much and Winter can sometimes feel not as fun BUT I am determined to embrace every single season and its joys and what I love BEST about winter is the COSY aspect.
It is the season for warmth (even if its easy to feel a bit chilly) and for hot drinks (same in Summer though!) and for blankets see Crochet Fun HERE and in my case ‘slankets’ … more on that later.
I wanted to tell you what I am up to, reading, craft and more this January .
