Here is my Hygge times – well some of them – which happened as March unfolded, as we enter April it is spring showers and bursts of sun, make the most of appreciating every season and try to look for what you love about it.
During March one of my absolute favorite things has been my new MUG- an actual mug for my drinks themed to RED NOSE DAY.
Red nose day, for those who don’t know, is a charity fund-raising day which happens every two years in the UK, and it is supported by comedians hence the red nose.
There is something so calming and creative about colouring and there are some amazing results that can be had.
What I liked about the idea of this was that the pictures were smaller and I thought probably faster to colour, although it’s not a race I wanted to feel I had completed more pictures from my growing colouring collection.
Hi all, so good to catch up with you and I thought today I would do a bit of a ‘my latest’ type post, it feels like a good way to say hello and get you up to date with some of what is running around my head.
January is often not an easy month is it, I LOVE Christmas and as such although start the new year with a fresh start mentality I think it still is not the positive boost to me that November and December is, in fact I love Autumn so much and Winter can sometimes feel not as fun BUT I am determined to embrace every single season and its joys and what I love BEST about winter is the COSY aspect.
It is the season for warmth (even if its easy to feel a bit chilly) and for hot drinks (same in Summer though!) and for blankets see Crochet Fun HERE and in my case ‘slankets’ … more on that later.
I wanted to tell you what I am up to, reading, craft and more this January .
I love to encourage creativity, ask any of the members in my Craft Club, or my Book Club for that matter as I couldn’t help encouraging the creative in people … and so I formed the craft club I now have, you are ALL welcome to join in. We show each other lovely inspiring items of craft, and it includes COLOURING. Read WhimsyandCosy Craft Club
Join Here, love to see you there as well. We chat all sorts of crafts and art things.
I LOVE to colour, I have a stack of books and find it is one of my favorite ways to RELAX, when I want something that is completely ‘non screen‘ it really fits the bill.
This is a quick post from me to you – to let you know that I have a colouring challengegoing on at my WhimsyandCosy Facebook craft club, feel free to join in the fun! Click whimsyandcosy craft club
We are this month – NOVEMBER 2016 – colouring a page from any of our Johanna Basford books to show each other and add to an album on the group, its all good fun!
If you don’t have a book by Johanna take a look in your collection for one with a similar style, the more the merrier! just try to tell us which book it is from! (so we can all rush out and buy one for ourselves..)
I love getting all those colours down on to paper.
